White Screen When Presenting in Skype for Business

Issue:

Recently a Skype for Business user was unable to see what others were presenting during a Skype meeting. The user’s “Stage” area showed blank white screen when other participants “Present Programs …”.

Solution:

The fix is easy – deleting a registry folder that’s related to ActiveX control.

Open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility
Delete the folder: {00000000-0000-0000-000000000000}
Restart Skype for Business.
